BRIEF: Design banner ads, as well as slide and transition indicators. Format layout and design for both mobile and desktop interfaces.
MyCrypto is a digital currency wallet interface which provides users with a secure platform to interact with blockchain accounts.
I worked with the AMSD team for a brief introduction to UX design. I learned the basics of the Sketch interface which had some similar features to my more trusted program, Illustrator. The snap to grids and vector based graphics were familiar tools to my craft. I took advantage of Youtube University during the span of this project. The plethora of online resources helped me keep up with the team and produce deliverables within the allotted time.
TAKEAWAY
I’m new to Sketch and I felt the strong learning curve but it challenged me to understand user behavior more than previous projects. Creating a platform not just for a user to visually consume, but actually interact with, helped me to realign my overall design perspective. Of the many iterations of of transition indicators, the simplest one was approved by the AMSD team which speaks to the structure and discipline needed for good UX design.
